What to do if a small excavator has no power when climbing uphill?

I. Problem Causes

1. It might be that the traveling motor is damaged and thus very weak when climbing uphill;

2. If the front part of the walking mechanism is broken, the excavator will not be able to climb uphill;

3. The inability of a small excavator to climb uphill might also be a problem with the distributor. Repairing an excavator is a technical activity used to restore the functionality of equipment after deterioration or malfunction, including various planned maintenance and unplanned troubleshooting and repairs. Also known as equipment maintenance. The basic contents of equipment maintenance include: equipment maintenance, equipment inspection, and equipment servicing.

II. Fault Repair

1. First, maintain the traveling motor and engine. Later, if the fault still persists, it indicates that the problem is not here;

2. Secondly, for the front part of the walking mechanism, after replacing the pilot valve, the problem of climbing uphill still exists;

3. After removing the distributor for inspection, the internal components are found to be damaged. After replacing the damaged components, the uphill fault of the excavator is successfully eliminated.

III. How to Clean the Fuel Tank and Cooling System of a Small Excavator

The simple method is cleaning. You can prepare a small air compressor. Release the fuel during the cleaning process, but be careful not to let it all out, leaving some fuel. Then, compressed air passes through a plastic pipe to the bottom of the fuel tank, making the diesel engine roll continuously for cleaning. During this process, the position and direction of the fuel pipe keep changing to clean the entire fuel tank. After purging, immediately empty the fuel tank so that impurities suspended in the oil flow out together with the diesel fuel. If the outflowing diesel becomes dirty, it needs to be cleaned again through the above method until the released oil contains no impurities.

The steam method is very effective, but it is only suitable for qualified applications. If you have the conditions to use steam, you can give it a try. During cleaning, the diesel needs to be drained, the fuel tank removed, and then a large amount of water is poured into the tank. Introduce fuel from the filler port into the water to make the water in the tank boil for about an hour. At this time, the glue adhered to the inner wall of the tank and various impurities dissolve on or peel off from the wall. Rinse the tank thoroughly twice in a row.

Another commonly used method is the solvent method. The chemicals used are corrosive or erosive. First, wash the tank with hot water, then blow dry it with compressed air, then immerse a 10% aqueous solution into the tank, and finally rinse the inside of the tank with clean water.

After the small excavator engine is shut down, wait for the temperature to drop, drain the coolant, add a 15% solution, wait for 8 to 12 hours, start the engine, wait for the temperature to rise to 80-90 degrees, stop the cleaning liquid, and immediately release the cleaning liquid to prevent scale precipitation. Then rinse with water until it is clean.

Some cylinder heads are made of aluminum alloy. At this time, the cleaning liquid can be prepared according to the ratio of 50g sodium silicate (commonly known as soda ash), 20g liquid soap, 10kg water, the cooling system, and about 1 hour. Wash the solution and rinse with water.
